The Static Age chords & tabs

Can you hear the sound of the static noise blasting out in stereo?
Cater to the class and the paranoid music to my nervous system
Advertising love and religion, murder on the airwaves
Slogans on the brink of corruption

Visions of blasphemy, war and peace
Oh, screaming at you

I can't see a thing in the video
I can't hear a sound on the radio
In stereo in the static age

Billboard on the rise in the dawn's landscape, working your insanity
Tragic á la madness and concrete Coca-Cola execution
Conscience on a cross and your heart's in a vice
Squeezing out your state of mind
Are what you own that you cannot buy

What a fucking tragedy, strategy
Oh, screaming at you

I can't see a thing in the video
I can't hear a sound on the radio
In stereo in the static age

I can't see a thing in the video
I can't hear a sound on the radio
In stereo in the static age

Hey, hey, it's the static age
Well, this is how the west was won
Hey, hey, it's the static age millennium

All I want to know is a god damned thing
Not what's in the medicine
All I want to do is I want to breathe
Batteries are not included

What's the latest way that a man can die
Screaming "Hallelujah"?
Singing out "the dawn's early light"
The silence of the rotten, forgotten
Oh, screaming at you

I can't see a thing in the video
I can't hear a sound on the radio
In stereo in the static age

I can't see a thing in the video
I can't hear a sound on the radio
In stereo in the static age

I can't see a thing in the video
I can't hear a sound on the radio
In stereo in the static age

I can't see a thing in the video
I can't hear a sound on the radio
In stereo in the static age

The static age

How to read these chord schemes

1 - chord name, 2 - chord designation, 3 - chord scheme

Chord name

There is the name of a chord before the symbols. If it's "*" added to a name, it means that this chord is played in different positions during the song.

Chord designation

There are 6 symbols in a designation, read it from left to right. The first symbol defines the thickest string (6th string), the second symbol defines 5th string and so on.

"0" means open string

"x" means this string isnt played

"Number" means number of a fret.

Example:

x02220

6th string isnt played
5th string is open
4th string is played on 2nd fret
3rd string is played on 2nd fret
2nd string is played on 2nd fret
1st string is open

Chord scheme

Imagine that you are looking at the fret while playing guitar - the closest string to your eyes is the 6th, the thickest string. There are 6 horizontal lines defines strings, the upper one is the thinnest string (1st string).
And there are 4 lines defined frets - no exact frets numbers defined.
In some schemes there is a thick line on the left - it defines the nut.

  • "0" means open string
  • "x" means this string isnt played
  • Fat dots mean fingers positions

Example:

G5 355xxx
